Santisima Trinidad (Full Model)
The SantÃsima Trinidad was built in Havana and launched on 2nd March 1769. It was the biggest warship of the 18th century, with 130 guns. After taking part in the naval campaigns of the late 18th and early 19th century, it last saw active service at the battle of Trafalgar, under the ensign of rear admiral Cisneros, where it was dismasted by the English fleet.

Kit features single plank-on-bulkhead construction using a variety of exotic woods, all pre-cut and ready for assembly. Walnut and beech planking strips provide a pleasing contrast. Fittings and ornamentation are faithful reproductions of the originals. Turned brass cannon, falconets and gun barrels provide firepower. Burnished metal cannon carriages and gunports, brass chain, laser cut grating strips, blackened metal anchors, expertly cast white metal transom, a sheet of photo-etched ornamentation and gilded metal figurehead add realistic detail. Four diameters of rigging keep hundreds of boxwood blocks and deadeyes fastened. A full set of hand-sewn cotton sails is provided, and silk-screened flags complete the Santisima Trinidad kit.
